12 weeks to freedom!

As an online student I take 6 week classes, often two at a time, that require a minimum of 5 days of the week to be spent online reading and posting in the classroom forums. Every 6 weeks is a new set of classes and, with the exception of a short two to three week break in December/January, there are no vacations between quarters. I choose not to take classes over the summer resulting in time off from mid June to the end of September and it is a much needed break after a solid 24 weeks of classes that starts the first week of January and lasts until mid June. I manage to keep on top of class work in the colder months mostly because playing outside is done on the weekends only. During the summer when the warm temps and sunshine last until late in the evening I find plenty of things to do outside on week nights and generally spend my weekends outside playing as well. This wouldn't leave much time for homework and quite honestly, graduating 6 months earlier just doesn't seem to be worth the misery taking classes over the summer sessions would create.

I began 2008 with a whole 3 day vacation from school and the knowledge that it would be a long 24 weeks until summer with no break in between classes. Now I've hit the halfway point and am ready for the warm spring weather and the next 12 weeks to be over. Can somebody make it summer already before my brain burns out completely?
