She's toying with me ...

So it snowed last week, just enough to cover the grass, and then warmed up to near 45 melting it all away. Over the weekend it snowed again, this time a couple of inches ... then it rained, turned to a sloppy mess of slush and ice, and eventually melted away. The only white stuff left is the piles along the end of driveways where it was pushed up by snow plows.

Come on already! The yo-yo game of snow and melt the next day, or in the case of this weekend in the same day, is old. Give me a decent layer of fresh powder and let the winter fun begin. It's December 3 and the world is grey ... this is just no fun at all. I need sunshine, to help with the mood, and fresh white powder covering everything as far as the eye can see. I could have moved to a warmer climate years ago but chose to stay because I love winters. now if only winter would arrive so I can play outside again!
