Let the countdown begin

Okay so tomorrow begins my LAST week of CGI/PERL and C++ classes ... FINALLY! I am burnt out and looking forward to a somewhat mind numbing 6 weeks of only one class to take. My book has been ordered and it looks like there may be some programming in this next class as well ... but at least it's not two programming classes at once. It will be nice to spend evenings with my wife for a change and possibly craw into bed before midnight at least two nights a week.

My brain is fried and unfortunately I find myself spending time writing rather than doing homework, which just adds to the amount of time required in late night cram sessions on Monday-Wednesday nights. I need to get this 'project' wrapped up and submitted online if I am to have copies of it before the end of the year ... but shouldn't homework be more important?

I also spent some time lastnight flipping through the archives of this thing ... I didn't realized how far back they went. It was an interesting trip through 5 years of history. I discovered that I am much more stable mentally than I thought ... and for those who remember, I haven't talked to Libby in years and after a few recent realizations don't think I would have anything nice to say to her should she decide to drop me a line today. She royally f*@cked with my head when we were dating and I've spent close to 12 years undoing some of her damage. It cost me a friend or two, who I honestly can live without, and skewed my perception of reality in the way things were left between two very important people from my life in Lake City. Thankfully that damage is easy to undo but I've spent years wondering what I did to make him not want to talk to me only to discover that I was the one who didn't talk to him. He just decided to 'let me go' ... Water under da' bridge I suppose. Now that I know what really happened and that he's interested in seeing me again I just need to make it happen.
