Today I regained some respect for "the old guy". Bill climbed all over my nerves Monday at work and I was ready to see him escorted to his car ... today was different. Yeah he screwed up a few things, so did everyone else. So he takes FOREVER to ring out someone at the register ... as long as the customer doesn�t mind why should I? We closed together and with his help we successfully made our first and LONG overdue shipment to the service center ... Mikey the wonder boy couldn't even make it work ... ... Dan I think we can start cutting back on his hours now I've learned all I can from him I think.

I don't hate my job! That is good ... I don't get paid what I think I should but it's retail and not quite on the same pay scale as corporate America. I get to work on computers again ... and deal with customers ... and be in charge of a tech bench again. I haven't done the last part for a few years! It's actually kind of fun in a way but the hours SUCK! I haven't seen Jen awake all day. She left LONG before I got out of bed; I worked the closing shift and got home around 11:00 to find her in bed asleep. It's only fair, she does have to get up @ 5:30 to be to work @ 7:30 ... I on the other hand get up @ 9:00 and leave for work @ 10:00. Tomorrow I will be home before her but she will have already eaten dinner I am sure so we will have a few hours awake together before she is off to bed again for another early rise on Thursday. Thursday is my day off, God forbid I get a weekend day off when she will actually be home ... it is retail after all and Thursday through Tuesday is the RUSH!

So I continue to look for another corporate job, take another CISCO class starting in a few weeks, and hope for better days ahead. At least I have a job with a pay check now ... benefits will be in my future months too ... I am full time at the wonderful Best Buy after all.
