It is a day I knew would come, one I hoped would be limited to the vandalizing of yard signs, but one that was inevitable in our sad little part of the world. It was reported today that a billboard in Pittsfield Township , near Ann Arbor, MI had been vandalized with racial slurs and KKK symbols. Care to take a guess what the billboard was advertising? That's right, it was a political advertisement for Barack Obama! But wait, there's more! It appears that there have also been threatening letters sent to the Livingston County Democratic Party offices that police and the Secret Service believe are connected. What a shock! I guess the more things change, the more they really are the same.
