Well ... the thermometer says it's 53 outside, the sky is blue, and the sun is shining ... could winter really be over? Is it time to pack up the snow gear, put away the shovel, pack up the salt, and dust off my bike again?
It is Michigan after all and though this has been the longest winter in recent history something tells me it's not quite over yet. The near term forecast calls for mild temps in the mid 40's and lows in the 30's ... but the long-term forecast tells a different tale. Hopefully the cold air will drift north where it belongs but it is possible that this thaw will be capped off with a few days in the teens and a little more snow to add to our already near record snowfall amounts.
At least it's Friday and the rest of the weekend is suppose to be nice ... I'll enjoy it while it lasts!
