It's amazing what the right combination of drugs can do for your health. Two days ago I felt like crap, still after 4 weeks, and couldn't stop coughing. Now, after starting a new round of antibiotics and treating the asthma with a new inhaler I feel almost normal again. The cough is almost gone completely and my head is finally draining. Too bad now everything tastes like sulfur, it's a side effect from the biaxin and means it's working.
Two more weeks of this boring writing intensive web marketing class and I'm done for the year! I'm not sick of school but I am quite tired of this particular class. It will be nice to have three and a half weeks off to work on personal projects rather than write papers weekly for this class.
Mistakes have been corrected and the new version of Unconditional... is now submitted ... time to figure out what I need to tell Mom and Dad before they read it. I'm not certain they, or at least Mom, will understand that it's not about her or the way things were handled by them in high school. I know they did their best to be understanding when I came out in high school and they did a better job than most parents do. They went out of their way to make sure I knew they loved me unconditionally ... but there was always tension between us when the subject came up. That has faded over time but it's still there. I know they accept it as part of who I am and they have gone out of their way to make my partner feel welcome in the family. There is still an unspoken rule about not bringing it up or asking questions. We've basically just stopped talking about it. Reading Unconditional... may bring all that back to the surface again. I'll have their copy in the next few weeks ... wonder if I should give it to them as soon as I get it or wait till after Christmas ... ... ...
