Pre-Paid PC's?

Is Bill living in the real world where just about every anti-piracy thing they have come up with has been hacked?  Check this out:"FlexGo: A Microsoft-backed program to sell PCs in emerging economies using the pay-as-you-go model that has proved successful for cell phones. Individuals in developing nations would be able to take home a $600 PC for as little as $250 to $300, but it would have usage-monitoring software on it, and after a certain amount of time, the PC would shut down until the owner purchased cards for additional system time. After the owner had made enough additional payments, they would own the system outright."Okay I get the idea of pre-paid cell phones, or phone cards, or even internet time but a pre-paid computer?  Any tech savy user will have this thing hacked in under 2 hours.  If it's not hackable ... we'll find a way.  If nothing else we simply run a destructive format, reload it from a "backup" of our OS disks, and we're back in business.  The only way around it would be a BIOS level encription code, but there'll be a hack for that out sooner than you can say "Micro-Shit" you can bet on that.
