It was a strange weekend that's for sure! Spent Friday night at home ... haven't done that in a long time ... and Saturday doing everything around the house we have not had time for in the last 2 weeks. After a fresh layer of powder we decided to go skiing Sunday ... took Chris along so he could try out the new snowboard ... he actually gets down the hill without falling now and he can usually stop at the bottom too ... GO CHRIS! We started at Apple Mountain and got our money back after an hour of fighting crowds to get to the top of the hill only to find that it was glare ice because they didn't get any snow Saturday. So we packed up and headed to Mt. Holly. I know I said I would never ski there but with all the fresh powder it was kind of nice. I am ready to go back tonight ... but I have other things to do. Maybe this weekend if it's still cold all week and we don't get any rain. I refuse to ski on ice ever again no matter how desperately I want to go ... I can always go to Crystal when we go to Mom and Dads in 2 weeks.
