Murphy's law SUCKS! I spent hours last night reloading my defective hunk of junk I sometimes call a computer. New Hard drive, new load of XP pro, managed to get some of my data moved off the old hard drive ... and then it crashed AGAIN! Spent another 2 hours scanning for viruses, I never have one running in the background, and doing updates only to not find the problem. Then @ midnight light dawns on marble head, 12 crashes later! Memory chip gone horribly bad. Every time I hit the memory hole it would reboot. Once I yanked the memory and installed my only extra chip, a whole whopping 128mb, it ran fine. Now I have to hope that my 256mb chip is not the one that is bad! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
